Not a fan of the first or second play where Flowers sprints from wideout to the backfield, only to sprint back out for a swing pass. Dude ran 30 yards before you threw it to him 5 yards behind the LOS. Very Romanesque. Fancy, not effective. Throw that crap out.

I’ve rarely seen a WR move the way he does with the ball in his hands. Good lord.
Getting Zay Flowers in space is going to be fun to watch this year.

I have seen enough of Flowers and Hill. Enjoy the rest of the night off.

Kinda pisses me off they don't put Lamar out there for at least one series...I mean, Josh Johnson seems solid. LOL!

And an OC that knows what to do with him.

I'm sure these are the basic, vanilla pages of the Monken playbook. But that play design to Flowers was phenomenal. Stacked on the heavy side, Flowers with a slight hesitation off of the line to allow the other recievers to pull the coverage, then a very quick move to the outside, wide open. Beautiful design and execution. Flowers flying and cutting around the field for a TD is just the icing.
I've seen enough of Flowers, let him chill on the sidelines. If Lamar can keep himself from locking on to Andrews or OBJ, and he can let the defense dictate where he throws, this offense has the potential to be extremely scary.

I am glad they did not put LJ in. I was worried when I saw he was in pads. What ever the reason he took them off.

I was curious myself. $50 million reasons to not put him out there. Lamar isn't the type to turn it down either. He's a competitor, no doubt he'd be out there playing like it was a regular season game. No need for that.

Forbes is gonna be good. Was the guy he hoped fell to us.
Top 5 pick if he were 2 inches taller, and 40-50 lbs heavier. Coverage skills are great already. Potential to be an elite cover guy. I have a feeling we'll be happy with Flowers though.

Its cute how much Was wants to beat us. Playing their first stringers so long agaist our 2s and 3s.

I personally like Howell. He has Kirk Cousins potential. I don't think he's ever a top 5 QB. But I think he surprises some people by not being completely inept.

I liked Howell in college. When he was drafted I posted about liking him for them in the DC thread.
He gets this year to show if he can be a real piece. If he can be a non liability and cost little, that's a win. Huge win if he actually make a few plays.
