Lol at the Angels. Wisee decision to go for it and hold onto Ohtani

They're now seven out of the wildcard after losing their sixth straight today.

 

Arte Moreno didn't want to be remembered as the guy who traded away Ohtani, but now his legacy is figuring to be even worse as the guy who should have traded Ohtani when he had the chance. Enjoy that comp pick.

Yeah everything Ive seen says no option but someone posted here that they saw somewhere that there was an option for '24. Im gonna assume he is a FA.

I checked Cot's again and they're not showing any option now for '24. I believe they were previously showing an option for next season in the $4 or $5 million range. It appears as if Oakland signed him to a one-year deal.

I only saw the Sunday game, but the Orioles deserve credit for coming off two big series with the Yankees and Jays and showing no let down in spanking a struggling Met team.  Keep winning series men and it is going to be a fun October.

I saw the play Hays got banged up on.  Has anything been said about how long he is out.

 

He has been terrific defensively this year.
