Royals ( swept 3 from Mets ) quite often pitched around Alonso............ And as I am typing this the Mets Announcers (My only access to this game is watching the game on Mets channel) but Mets announcers just did a few WOW's about Urias .

Alonso got called for a clock violation and started his AB 0-1 accordingly. He eventually grounded out, but chirped at the crew chief who was at 3B as he was jogging back to the dugout. He looked heated. Something to keep an eye on as the evening progresses. Perhaps frustrations could boil over.

I feel like the Mets are the Cleveland Browns of Major League baseball. Perpetually less than the sum of their parts, and even when they're good, they're still kind of bad.

I don't think I'd pitch around Alonso.  Yeah, he can hurt you with the long ball but unlike Judge, he's a terrible hitter otherwise.

Alonso gives me Chris Davis vibes. I don't see him aging well into his 30s. He doesn't have the swing and miss that Davis had, however.
