Another lefty.

His numbers are good.

 

I guess the lineup will be similar to last nights.

 

We are going to the game tonight and tomorrow.  Hopefully mother nature cooperates.

I suspect its as simple as wanting to platoon as much as possible. So just 1 lefty vs the lefty. Last night Gunnar sat. Tonight Mullins.

Tomorrow's lineup is more interesting to me. Do they keep Frazier on the bench. Do they play Mateo vs the RHP. Lots of ways to mix and match 2b, 3b, and SS vs a righty.

My guess is Westburg, Gunnar, Frazier, O'Hearn against RHP and Gunnar/Urias, Mateo, Westburg, Urias/Santander against LHP.

I dont like Gunnar at SS. Doubt Westburg is better.

I know the organization likes versatility and I think every team has to have a few versatile players, but JMO, but I want to see the Orioles play the prospects in one spot.  I think it helps them both offensively and defensively.

Gunnar began playing much better at 3rd base when he played every day when Urias was out.

 

I will be surprised if Urias is not dealt at the deadline.

Agreed. Lock in Gunnar at SS. Lock in Westburg at 2b. Yeah, each can play SS or 3b if needed but dont move them around a bunch

It'll never happen, but if I'm Baltimore, I'm keeping Urias over Frazier. I'd hang into Urias. Cheap, super utility IF. Ideally, you have Urias, Mateo, a 1B/corner OF, and back-up C on the bench.

Gunnar is completely overmatched vs solid to good lefties. Batting him 4th tonight is unbelievably stupid. Starting him was stupid

I like Urias a lot, but I'd think he and a prospect or two could net a huge upgrade at SP or power LH hitter.

I don't think Urias has huge trade value. He's older. His bat is OK but not spectacular. I think he has more value to us than he does to other teams.
