Nice outing again by Wells. 6.2 innings 2 runs 5 hits 1 BB and 8 K against a very good lineup.

Like this move. Jansen up in a one run game represents perhaps the highest leverage situation they may have in the game (particularly so if the O's plate another run or two in the bot 7th).

Cano does not inspire confidence any longer. He's in the group with Baumann, Baker, and Coulombe for me. Still useful, but not a weapon. Hopefully he can find that level again, not expecting unhittable but he can get back to being dominating. Until he does it kind of feels like a one-off hot month.

Oof, badly hanging split but it confused Chapman for a called Strike 3. Even when he makes bad pitches he gets Ks!
