I feel like Adley should be a better interview.

18 games over.
.500 from here on out is 90 wins. Crazy. The few times it looks like they may start slumping they rip off 3 or 4 or 5 in a row.
Won 6 of their last 7 including last game of (losing) Mil series. Lost 7 of the 11 prior vs Tex/SF/Cle/Mil. A very nice recovery.

Missed the early game. Good job pulling series.
Wells continues to produce. Couple big hits and close it out. Good win. Stay frosty.

Doctor: "Take a three game series against the Kansas City Royals and call me in the morning."

The Jays are brash (and haven't won anything). I figured when they got rid of a few loose cannons in the offseason to improve their OF D with Varsho and Kiermaier they would've honed their focus somewhat.
Nope.

Ill still put him above the 3 you mentioned. If only because he actually hasnt been scored on much and psychologically it still feels like hes safer. For all intents and purposes though you are right and its gonna be an inevitable problem we run into at some point.
Cano does not inspire confidence any longer. He's in the group with Baumann, Baker, and Coulombe for me. Still useful, but not a weapon. Hopefully he can find that level again, not expecting unhittable but he can get back to being dominating. Until he does it kind of feels like a one-off hot month.

Excellent win! Now, lets go to Chicago and beat up a clearly inferior opponent.
And the Orioles won't have to face Marcus Stroman, who pitched (and won) Thursday against Pittsburgh.

Storman is a trade candidate.

No, he's not. John Angelos isn't paying the remainder of his $25M salary this year, and $23M owed to him next year. Can't see that happening. I think people need to brace their selves. I'd be happy to just not sell at this year's deadline. I'll be shocked if anyone making any real money is added, unless this is the last year of their deal.

Stroman has an opt-out which he'll almost certainly use. I generally agree that the O's won't take on significant salary, suppose Elias could make it work by giving up more and having Chicago eat some of the remaining money. No, he's not. Expecting to be disappointed, but it will be interesting to see what they do this July. Even fewer excuses for inaction than last off-season.

I'd rather have Burnes.
