Another stupid ass Apple game
I have no problem with Apple having some games on their channel. What I have a huge problem with is MLB giving them sole rights to those games so that guys who pay for the MLBTV package get shut out on those nights. Bull shit.

Why in the world would Apple pay mlb to broadcast games and still allow them to be broadcast on mlb tv?
There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note

Another stupid ass Apple game
Yup. Annoyed by them. Headed to OC tonight and was hoping to watch it out someplace. It's hard enough to get people to find the game when it's on MASN. With it on AppleTV you might as well be asking them to find some Chinese table tennis.

If you find a bar in OC that has a smart tv with an internet connection and an Apple TV sub God bless you.

Guessing the game will not be on at Mackey’s but some poor bartender will spend 20 mins trying to find the game and wondering why it isn’t on MASN

Just hoping the air quality situation doesn't force a postponement. Anecdotally speaking, in beautiful downtown Hampstead, the air seems significantly better today than yesterday.

Yea they should be okay tonight. I am in Towson and it is a little hazy but MUCH better than yesterday.

Commercial businesses sometimes operate differently when it comes to how they get the sports they show. For instance, since generally they don’t do streaming services, bars will still be able to get NFL Sunday Ticket from DirecTV when it goes to YouTube for everyone else this fall. They also have some means of showing MLS games outside Apple TV. Not sure about baseball.

Not sure if this is all the games, but searching through Game Thread titles they also were on Apple on 9/16/2022 (loss @ Toronto) and 5/19/2023 (win @ Toronto).

The Orioles might win tonight with this lineup.
Every team has to play games, and sometimes weeks with sub-optimal lineups...
But seeing Hicks bat cleanup (while acknowledging he's been hitting since joining the O's) is kind of cringy.

McCann is batting .173 / .189 / .346 vs LHP this year ( .535 OPS 52 ab's )... (.772 OPS 28 ab's vs. RHP.)
