Thats baseball. Im not sure you understand these things happen over 162. You were told June was gonna have to be grimy and grindy. Today they lost one of the ones that was winnable. Not a good game. Offense just ain't doing the job.
38 ABs, 16 Ks, 1 BB (and it was an intentional BB)

Obvious much. Yes, lose game 1 and its gonna be tough to win the series. Spot on observation though. You nailed it.
Good luck against Burnes tomorrow. Gonna be tough to sneak out with a series win.

It's only one game. Relax. Your anger is obvious.

Annoyed. Not angry. You do make it worse so congrats on that.

It's almost pay day (Wednesday at midnight). I'm still getting money deposited into my account even if Mateo failed to get that bunt down.
It's all good.

This loss doesn't irritate me as much as a blown late lead normally would. Not sure why. Maybe I'm just distracted.

I simply can't get over the way Hyde handles his starters. Gibson had settled in quite nicely after a rough beginning and was in control. He walks a guy on a borderline pitch and even though there was no doubt that he was getting pulled, I was hoping against hope that he wouldn't. Especially when you consider his propensity to induce double play balls. Even though Gibson was at 96 pitches, I certainly think it would've been more advantageous to stick Gibson, as opposed to turning to the pen at that point.
The decision had a waterfall affect because, eventually, we had to go to Cano to get out of the 7th, then bring him back out for the 8th, where he gave up the tying run.
Hyde's propensity to micromanage the pitching staff and baby the starters has absolutely impacted the efficacy of the bullpen. It's June, the starters are stretched out. Hyde needs to watch the game in front of him and stop being so dogmatic in his handling of the starting staff.

It is time for Westburg and Cowser. Losing Mullins really hurts and Hicks has done a good job, but with Mountcastle, Mateo and others slumping badly, Westburg and Cowser are needed.
Manage the roster correctly Elias and get reinforcements up here.

Yeah, the bullpen is bad and the starters only go 5-6 innings, which is a bad combination. It seems like improving the offense might be the easier solution. It's a shame that guys like Santander, Hays, Mountcastle, Mateo, Urias, etc are all really streaky, because the problem gets worse when most/all of them are on a cold streak.

No need to prioritize. Do both. Both are mandatory.

They said last night that bullpen is 4th in MLB? AL? And was at 2nd before allowing all those runs to Cleveland. Either way pretty good, certainly not bad. That said the BP is being carried by Cano and Felix.

Yes but if you had to prioritize thats the order. For me. On June 7. I do worry about guys lime Bradish and Wells hitting an innings limit or just a wall in general as we hit Aug /Sept.No need to prioritize. Do both. Both are mandatory.
