Givens in particular just has nothing. Mack is right that you cant single out 1 guy but I feel comfy doing it with Givens.


Also agree a real starter shoulda been brought up and used. Watkins, Rom, Irvin, Zimmermann. One shoulda been brought up to pitch 3 innimgs minimum no matter what

Just end this one as mercifully as possible and move on to SF.

I mean what did you expect throwing all the B level guys. We all know every single one is shaky. Just sucks we got 8 minimum during a Beiber start and did nothing with it but the prospects were bleak knowimg Akin, Voth and Givens were all 100% gonna throw today.

Poor roster management to not have a starter come up, to try to get at least 5 innings from one pitcher.

Irvin or someone should have been brought up for Mullinsand Hicks could have taken  Akin’s spot.

That's two straight series losses, one against a team that isn't good. Maybe getting far away from home is what they need to cure what's ailing them.

Definitely slumping. Texas is a good team, Cleveland is not. Might be good to get away from OPACY, but SF and Milwaukee will be tough, too.

Not much to feel positive about right now. Mullins is hurt. Only Adley and Santander have really been productive offensively. Bullpen in shambles.

The BABIP does suggest he's been somewhat unlucky, but his walk numbers are way down from his usual standard, so I'd say he's swinging too much.

He's approaching a season and a half of being unlucky dating back to last year. Guess they need to keep running him out there hoping it'll finally turn around for him.
