Time for him to retire. At this point, what does it even prove?

It seemed to me Santander had a problem with Schmidt's very first pitch. It looked like a balk (he didn't get set at all). Hyde seemed to be aware of it, but Palmer was in la-la land.

The ump was pissed that Schmidt showed him up. This isn't rocket science.

Great AB by Gunnar. Took a lot of close pitches.

I feel like half of Torres career stats have come against Baltimore.

He has nothing to prove. He's still excellent and he can leave when he feels like it.

I like Brown, but would be cool with just him and Ben and not having the pbp. Or a 3 man booth.

OT: Arnold tonight...also solid.

Just the eye test but I don't feel like Frazier is quite as good with the glove as we saw from Odor last year. Obviously providing much more offensively thus far, though.

You and I definitely disagree on his "excellence" but that's cool.  Most people seem to like him in the booth.  Just not my cup of tea. I wish we had at least one pitcher as good as him, though.

If nothing else, making him throw a lot of pitches.

The problem is once Palmer gets going, moments of the game get by him, and then he has little chance to reset the moment, so he just continues down the path he started.

Still love Palmer. Don't think he quite has the chemistry with Brown like he did with Gary Thorne, but still enjoyable to listen to. Definitely can tell the age is catching up a bit.
