I don’t see how we can rely on Tate, major injury that is one step before TJ and he has been getting shelled in AAA. Givens is better than Baker but not by a whole lot, IMO. But I would trust him more than Bake the Flake!

Baker should be a 5th - 8th guy in a pen. 
If you look at him in that context, he's more than fine. 
If you are asking him to be a high leverage guy, that's a bit much.

I mean, no... of course he isn't the MVP level we saw in April, nor is he this guy that can't do anything offensively here in May.

But it's all part of the equation and adds to the overall body of work. 

If he's a .700+ OPS guys with a .300+ OBP...  coupled with his defense and speed... he has value. 

Either way, the O's will be looking to replace him by the middle of the next year at the latest.
