You can't send him down, or can you? Bring up Ortiz instead? Westburg? Mateo's emergence makes all of this possible, where Gunnar needn't dominate, but you still want him 'righted'.

I really think its time. Let him get some confidence swinging the bat in AAA. That can help so much. To me its clear he doesnt trust his swing right now. Yes, bring up Ortiz platoon him with Frazier. Urias is 3b. If Ortiz starts cutting into Fraziers time thats fine too

I'd let Gunnar play through it for a while longer. Rest of the squad is picking up for him, if we were scuffling offensively he'd be under more pressure.

Unless they think he could benefit from the mental break and shake himself out of the funk with a quick refresh at Norfolk. No way for any of us to have a meaningful opinion on that.

I am good with getting Ortiz back up here and having him eat into a bit of Gunnar's PT, especially against LHP, with Urias flipping between 2B/3B depending on who sits.
