I'd say Schultz.  He's been on the fringe of TE1 in recent years and should see an uptick in targets as a more primary focus of the Texans offense, even if its a much less prolific offense overall.

Frankly, I'm surprised Schultz is available. I'd say he'd be a lock as a lower tier TE1 (you're sorta saying that), cuz the guy's established he can be a security blanket for an established QB. He'll do that for Stroud.

You can’t leave us hanging, who did he actually get as the RBs?

McKinnon of Kc and Javonte Williams of Denver

Nobody:

Me:

I feel good about my series of drafts.

10 team snake, 2nd pick, redraft

Burrow, Chase, Amon-Ra, Javonte Williams, Mattison, Andrews, Lockett

10 team snake, 1st pick, redraft

Mahomes, Jefferson, Dionte Johnson, Mixon, Jammal Williams, Njoku, Mike Williams

Deon Jackson or Taylor on the bench for when Kamara returns.

14 team snake, 8th pick, 3 keepers, no 2nd round pick (traded away last year)

LJ (k), Hopkins (k), Jeudy, Chubb, Gus, Kincaid, Addison.

Toney was also a 13th round keeper, but waiting to see his usage in week 1. Rest of the bench is upside RB2s and Russ Wilson, incase that Sean Payton offense is clicking and I can trade one of my QBs for a RB. Teams got upside, but not expecting much from this group.

16 team auction, $200 budget, redraft

Burrow $31, Amon-Ra $43, Allen $27, Barkley $57, Deon Jackson $1 (RB1!!), Kittle, $17, Jeudy $11

(Gus for $1 will slot in for Jackson if Taylor comes back, or snag an emerging RB off the wire).

I feel like I'd be happy with this in a 12-team, and it feels like cheating in a 16-team.

Not really a question but my RB situation is a mess -- J Taylor, Dobbins and Ekeler all out for various reasons

Starting Joshua Kelley and Antonio Gibson today

I’d go Kirk but tough call Bacon. Pray, Cerrano.

Also had a few shares of Dobbins this year (including one in my dynasty league). Still hurts.

Gross RB situation. Lots of injuries

Tony Jones or Khalil Herbert?

PFF isn't everything, but Khalil is currently ranked 6th among RB's, Tony Jones 24th.

There's talk of "letting Fields be Fields" this week - which to me signals they are going to try to establish the run game more. They seem content to keep Roschon in the "complimentary" back role for now. I don't like either choice, like you, but this is the state of the RB position right now across the league.

Tony Jones wasn't efficient with his touches, but was J Murray esque with his 2 TD's. I do think he has the better chance to score this week, but I like Herbert better.

All that said, KC has allowed 96 YPG rushing, while GB has allowed 166.5. Jones has the far better defensive matchup. Tough call.

I sure wish my first two RBs weren’t Saquon and JK

Had quite a bit of stock in JKD this year and it hurts. It really hurts. Also own Saquon in dynasty, but am in a productive struggle this year so I just need him to get back and flash again so I can deal him before the deadline.

Liked my drafts. And I am a collective 2-14 across four leagues. Have never had it this bad. Maybe have one bad league, but top-2 or 3 in another. But I'm not even competing it feels like. Bye weeks coming, hopefully I catch some teams with a superstar on a bye.

It has been an incredibly strange season. I can’t ever remember this many disappointments from those considered to be fairly safe plays.

Burrow QBing two of my teams doesn't help.

Also have lost Barkley for a couple weeks, Lost Chub on another team. I draft a ton of backup RBs, but those guys haven't been getting it done. Gus Edwards. Lamar has been snaking some of those scores inside the 10. Josh Kelly scored 16 points in week 1 when Ekeler did play, and since Kelley became the primary, he's been a complete zero. Thought a handful of Jerry Jeudy stock in a Sean Payton offense would be a good thing. Guess not. Tank Dell scores 20+ two weeks in a row. I pick him up. 3. Piss off.

Have Jonathan Taylor waiting in the wings in 3 of 4 leagues. If he returns and looks like CMC, I could turn things around. He'll probably hold out the rest of the year though.

My two teams are 7-1 so something crazy is going.  Normally half the players would be injured by now.

I really should just do best ball league. I love the drafts. Managing mid season isn’t fun.

Most of my teams are bad too. I just really don’t like this as much as I used to

I lost Chubb, Dobbins, and Mike Williams after the first 3 weeks. My team is barely being held together by Zack Moss, Raheem Mostert, and a so far underperforming Jahmyr Gibbs.

7-13 for me.  0-5 in the league where I have Saquon and JK Dobbins

After being a collective 3-21 after 6 weeks, I went 4-0 this week. Including a win where I had to start Bagent against a team starting Mahomes. (16 teams, Burrow on bye, everyone but me carrying 2 QBs).

In a pick em contest when usually 13 wins (or at least 10-11 when there are bye weeks) I won this week with 6.

Good luck to anyone who can figure this league out.
