$180 draft cap in auction league.

Aiming to keep Mahomes for $39 and Pollard for $13.

I can keep Derrick Henry for $53. For comparison sake, McCaffrey was $51 last year. Thinking I may get him cheaper if I put him back into draft pool.

What do you think? I don't have any other keeper candidates.

I'd rather keep Henry for $53 than Mahomes for $39.  Unless maybe if its a 6-point passing TD league?  Even then, still going Henry but its a closer call.  Mahomes is an obvious stud but that's a ton for a QB.

My keeper options.  Can keep up to 4 in a $200 auction league, though I'm down to $182 after making some additions last season.

Justin Jefferson - $40

Jaylen Waddle - $19

Breece Hall - $31

JK Dobbins - $24

Jonathan Taylor - $56

Christian McCaffery - $75

Jefferson and Waddle are easy choices.  Thought Dobbins would be an easy choice before his contract dispute.  Hall is the question mark, if he's healthy then easy keep, if he's gonna be late or struggle in his first year back then its not worth it.  But would be able to keep him again in 2024 for $41 (and $51 in '25) if he returns and is a stud.  Leaning towards keeping.

It's a 6 pt TD league. Top QB in league...I think he'd go higher than that.

I'd keep the top 4.

Probably dooms myself for the season, but pretty happy with my roster after my keeper auction.  Spent a lot last year to try and win, but fell short, so entered the draft a bit light, only $85 entering the draft.

Keepers:

Justin Jefferson ($36), Jaylen Waddle ($19), Breece Hall ($27) and JK Dobbins ($24)

QB:  Tua Tagaviola ($5), Daniel Jones ($5)

RB:  Aaron Jones ($33), Jaylen Warren ($4), D'Onta Foreman ($4)

WR:  Tyler Lockett ($14), Mike Williams ($8), Jameson Williams ($3)

TE:  Tyler Higbee ($1)

K:  Greg Zuerlein ($1)

DEF: San Francisco ($1)

$6 unspent which annoys me.  Only big regret was I was grabbing a beer and missed the auction on Joe Mixon who somehow only went for $29.  Don't think I have any other regrets, either on guys I bought or guys I tapped out.

If you're rolling with Tua

Get comfy with rolling with Daniel Jones for a month when Tua gets hurt. Or, unload Dobbins once he scores 4 TDs in two weeks for a legit QB1-2 (possible in Maryland).

I'd say Schultz.  He's been on the fringe of TE1 in recent years and should see an uptick in targets as a more primary focus of the Texans offense, even if its a much less prolific offense overall.

Thought I had seen all kinds of draft strategies. Turns out I was wrong. In a 10 team .5 ppr league draft yesterday I saw a guy wait until the 9th round to get a RB. His first 7 picks included 2 QB's (Mahomes and Rodgers) 2 TE's Kelce and Pitts and the 49ers D.

And now that I've made fun of his team watch him finish with a better record than me!

You can’t leave us hanging, who did he actually get as the RBs?
