McKenna is an OK 4th outfield/ late defensive replacement.
Having those two on the ML roster for near minimum salary makes Frazier and his $8M salary redundant.

Over his last 10 games Ortiz is hitting .459/.488/.649 (1.137) with 5 doubles, a triple, and a stolen base. 189 wRC+, 9.3% walk rate, 9.3% strikeout rate.
Plus the Orioles are facing 3 lefties in Detroit.

We could've gotten similar production at the plate, with perhaps a slight decline in defense, if we had gone with Vavra and never signed Frazier.

For as on point as most of Elias' moves have been, I've not been able to make any sense out of giving 8 mill to Frazier. Particularly when we have quality middle infield prospects in the high minors. I guess "veteranosity" still carries value in the marketplace.

I think Frazier has been a nice addition, at least so far, he isn’t a world burner but a good vet who is our best 2B defensively, can play outfield and his bat has been okay.
Is a .631 OPS, 20th out of 24 qualifying 2Bmen okay? Not if you're trying to make the playoffs and you have arguably better and cheaper options available in house.

Adam Frazier has been exactly what we expected. A very weak bat with very solid defense.
A very baffling move by Elias. He's usually on point, but that move made absolutely zero sense.
