When is the last time MD was in the semis of a conf tourny. I could easily be forgetting something but feels like they always flame out in conf tournaments

Last time was in 2016. They had a double-bye and beat Nebraska before losing to Michigan State in the semifinals.

Yeah, almost always disappoint in the conference tourney. Other than Gilchrist, think only one other championship game appearance under Gary, and none since. That Gilchrist year was awesome though.
