I like our draw to be honest. Of course we could go out in the 1st round but I ain't skeered of anyone on our side of the bracket.

So we should play at approximately 9 PM ET on Thursday, if i'm reading that right.
Agreed, good draw. Though there really isn't any team to fear in this conference, relative to some of the top teams in other conferences IMO. That includes Purdue.

Simply cannot stomach losing to Nebraska again.
And if we win I'd have much rather drawn NW or Sparty in the quarters.
I don't think this is a good draw aside from being on the opposite side of Purdue.

I like avoiding Iowa. Fran may be a lunatic but he's a heck of a coach. If that team gets hot from 3 MD can't complete. Also like avoiding Sparty. Izzo in March can't be taken lightly.
I think Indiana is a decent matchup with us. If Reese stays out of foul trouble he can compete with Jackson-Davis. Big if, of course.

I was hoping for a double bye, but not a bad draw.
I will be watching a lot of CBB this week, and the next etc. etc.

I also like the draw... how can you not.... Minnesota / Nebraska, Indiana, Northwestern to get the final? Easily possible.
The hard part isn't envisioning them beating anyone (including Purdue); it's believing they can put together good enough outings on successive days.
Beating Indiana would be another good win.
No excuse to not beat Minnesota / Nebraska.
Assuming it's Nebraska, would like the opportunity to avenge that ridiculous loss in Lincoln.

Minnesota pulls off the upset, 78-75. Maryland will face off against them 25 minutes after the conclusion of tomorrow's 6:30 PM ET Illinois-Penn State game.
The Terps won both of their games against the Golden Gophers this season, winning both games by more than 15 points. Minnesota was their only conference road win of the year.

Minnesota shot the ball very well in this game, 52% from the field including 42% from beyond the arc. Also out-rebounded Nebraska by 5 and shared the ball well. They struggled with free throw shooting (70%) and turnovers (15), as they've done all year.
Jamison Battle fouled out with just under 10 minutes left in the game, which definitely hurt them. Got bailed out by two illegal screens by Nebraska on consecutive possesions inside the final minute, along with another bad turnover by the Cornhuskers with 1.3 seconds left. They only went 7 deep, so their guys played a lot of minutes.

Below are both teams' KenPom rankings entering tonight's game. Maryland comes in as 13-point favorites.

The spread is 13 tonight. We might double that.

Rutgers Michigan in 90 mins. Huge game. May pop a brew.
LOVE this time of year
If Michigan wins it is inevitable they're going on another annoying Sweet 16 run

Huge Rutgers run sparked by Michigan laziness. Nobody blocked out the shooter on a FT, rebound came straight to him, nobody moved to guard him and he got a wide open layup. I'm not sure I've ever seen an easier bucket off of a free throw miss.
