Hart, on the other hand, even the three he made was a bad look and he took others. Also had at least two sloppy turnovers due just to carelessness or lack of focus.

The road woes continue. Not a great way to head into the Big 10 Tournament.
Only hope is that it is indeed road woes and that neutral won't have the same devastating effect. We'll see.

Hart is like a Carey or Martinez to me. He's a role guy who isn't needed to win.

Maybe they use a different ball at home? At College Park, the Terps look like a legitimate second weekend team; on the road, they look like they'd have a hard time beating a high school state champion. Something has to be causing it.

Agree he's a more important player than Hart but I think he and Hart are on their own tier above Carey and the reserves but not as essential as Young and Juju.

Hart upsets me more than Scott today. Scott didn't necessarily play badly, he didn't force anything or try to get it going when it wasn't there. He just didn't make the shots he took, most of which were ok enough looks.
Hart, on the other hand, even the three he made was a bad look and he took others. Also had at least two sloppy turnovers due just to carelessness or lack of focus.
Scott made 29% of his 3's last year, he was at 30.4% from 3 this year entering today. He shouldn't be shooting 4.2 3's a game.
He's 6'8, 230... be physical, go to the basket, get to the line.
Hart made 33% of his 3's last year, he was as 34% from 3 this year entering today. I also don't think he needs to take 3.4 3's a game, but ok He's also 6'8. At-least he always plays strong defense.

They do. UA. They've talked about the ball difference being an issue before.
But I'm sure they practice with both.

I only get more disappointed in Scott because I feel like he, along with Young and Reese, are the players the team has to count on to win big games.
Hart is like a Carey or Martinez to me. He's a role guy who isn't needed to win.
Hart and Scott are pretty equal players. I think Hart is slightly more valuable.
Think both would be more appreciated as role players on better teams.
I'll always like both for coming back.
Hart and Martinez are the best perimeter defenders, and with Reese are why MD's a good defensive team.
Scott's generally a good defender as well, but Hart's more versatile. Hart can also handle the ball better.
Hart 11.8 ppg, 8.1 fga's.. 49.6% fg %, 4.3 boards, 2.5 assists, 1.1 steals, 81.7 FT %, 3.1 FT attempts.
Scott 11.6 ppg, 11.1 fga's,.. 40.2% fg %, 5.9 boards, 1.5 assists, 0.8 blocks, 0.6 steals, 76.8 FT %, 1.9 FT attempts

IDK how to up-to-date this is with today's results but Kenpom says the home team wins 66.7% of the time in B1G games, Maryland's obviously an outlier for this year but I don't think it's anything like a different ball, just road games are hard to win in this conference for everyone lol

From Kenpom, the only bigger home-court advantage this year has been in...the American East, home to UMBC
