I assumed he'd always have a special place in your heart!

Yea...him and McCollum.

The Wiz have agreed to terms with Webster on a 4/22 deal. The last year is only particularly guaranteed.

Congrats to Martell, and he had a nice year for sure, but how many small forwards do they need?

I'm very glad to get Martell back, but that's an overpay for sure. He had a career season last year, with highs across the board, and he got paid. I think he can definitely be a key piece on a winning team and loved the combination of him, Wall, and Beal. But Otto Porter figures to be the future at the 3. Webster is a pretty versatile player that can score in a couple different ways and defend a number of different types of players, so I don't think finding minutes for a useful guy like him will be difficult, but it will be interesting to see. I think you could see the Wizards go small at times with Wall, Beal, Porter, Webster, and Nene, which would actually be pretty interesting.

All in all, glad to see he's back. He's a high character guy and he's an excellent perimeter shooter, which is exactly what John needs.
