Was curious about the biggest moves from the August list and Prieto from #14 in August to #25 now definitely jumps out to me

Nice work guys.
I'll have to listen to the pod; interested to hear why you have Johnson over Povich.
Given the injury and the age difference; I'd have that flipped.

Good stuff. Thanks.

Also find zero natural 1Bs notable. Obviously it's one of the easier positions to teach someone at a different position but no one already having a good amount of reps at the position is certainly interesting when Mountcastle hasn't *fully* cemented himself as someone who is a lock for longterm imo

Seems like an intentional choice at this point. Have to think a Norby, Basallo, Kjerstad even could eventually fill that spot. Unless they think that is a position that is kind of undervalued on the free agent market.
Mayo probably in the mix here as well. (I know you prefer his arm elsewhere)

Of those three I think Kjerstad would make the most sense just based on raw power

For me it’s just a limited ceiling. He started off cranking homers at power unfriendly Aberdeen so it seemed like maybe he added something there in his time outside of competitive baseball but then that never showed up again. Still think he can hit enough to be a utility guy potentially but without power, plate discipline, or above average defense it’s hard to see him being a regular.

I agree with you 100% but the funny thing is, if he starts cranking out homers at Bowie next April/May he right back into the top 15. It was very strange that he showed power at Aberdeen but nothing at Bowie. It's an excuse but there is probably some truth to the fact that he probably played 3-4 times a week in Cuba and played 5-6 times a week here. I'm interested to see what a full offseason of lifting and conditioning does. Plus, he's going to have to buy into a little more patient approach.

Ive never much understood the Pinto love. Still dont. He appears to have no fastball and walks too many on top of that.

He put up great numbers at Delmarva last year in half a season as a 20 year-old and his control was very good. What wasn't to like? His fastball is 90-94 but his secondary pitches are good. His command/control were below average this year. I think he needs to stay on top of his conditioning and he's definitely going to need to cut down on the walks. We'll see.

Ok. Just to be a pain. One player ranked too high.
Hudson Haskin. He's basically a tweener at this point. Not a lot of power for a corner. Not an on base guy or premium defender in CF. He had a nice year at Bowie but he has no calling card. Nothing jumps out at you. I'd probably have him down into the 25-30 range. Having said that, watch him get off to a great start this year! lol
One player ranked too low.
Juan Delosantos- This kid throws mid 90's and has an interesting slider. He was only 20 last year. He's a big imposing kid. That's a power reliever floor but I think he certainly has mid rotation ceiling although he's pretty far out. I think he belongs in the top 30.

Ill happily take 4 or 5 pitchers, maybe more, on that list below him going forward.
Name them, please.
