HBO has done it again! 2 episodes in and I have zero complaints with this show. Fantastic adaptation of the video game that has also added a few variations that make sense and stay true to the established world. I know some people prefer a binge, but I love that I only get one episode a week, and to be honest this show is so heavy one a week is enough for me.

Yeah I am so happy with the show, they’ve nailed it so far. And I love the new bits of info that even gamers are getting with the flashbacks.

Yeah that scene with the professor was fantastic. Little touches like her hands are shaking so bad that she has to put her tea down because she's terrified.

This is a really solid adaptation so far. And the next episode looks like it has Nick Offerman, so I'd be shocked if that didn't continue to be the case.

I never had friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?

Keep going, some good set pieces in episode 2 and we already know the journey ends strong.

I have some ideas as to why but I am very curious to find out. I know it’s a longer episode, like 80 minutes or something.

Not what I was expecting, and that was a change from the game. Really well done though. I like that they're interspersing more of these side stories to flesh out the world.

O man, this show is so good. Something they've done a few times now that I've really liked is what they've shown versus what they haven't shown. Ellie shoots that guy to save Joel, he's not dead so Joel has to finish him off. Ellie leaves the room, you don't see what happens at this point you just see her reaction to hearing what's going on.

Watched the first 2 episodes last night. Didn't sleep great, but other than that, loving it. Super well done all around so far.
