Coulda threw it ahead to the guy in the corner too. Like after one bounce and just over halfcourt. Had the time to get to someone with a better lookOK who took the last shot? Cuz here’s some truth:
he needed to draw the foul on the long guy who left his feet 25-28 feet from the basket. He’d have been at the line shooting three foul shots.

Painter’s gonna pull his kid aside and tell him to never leave his feet like that again.

I think they will. Indiana hot now though. That’s annoying.
They should get a minimum of 2 of 3. If they get all 3, they'll be in pretty good shape.

Stop saying great effort. Jesus people. That was a bad show by both teams. We get two teams that scores 110 points and we get good effort and moral victory posts. Insane. It was absolutely horrible basketball by both sides
There can be good effort, and bad offensive execution. The shooting was horrible. The effort the first 20 minutes was just ok. The 2nd half effort was legitimate. Hands were active. Bounce in their step. Looking to play the passing lanes, and look for the oulet.

What’s our record against Wisconsin the last 5 years? I feel like we always lose to them.

3-4 the last five years. Also had a loss to them in the Big Ten Tournament in 2017-18.

Not just that he scored, but the way he scored. Variety of offensive moves we haven't seen him make very often.

Probably more complex than this, but seemed like he was doomed by a quick defender with size. Couldn't get past him or over him.
What the heck happened to Young today? Ended up with 10 but the shooting figures were abysmal.

Ethan Morton’s size really bothered him, wasn’t able to get anything going until the second half.

Wisconsin has lost 3 of their last 4. Losses @ Illinois and Indiana, and at home vs. Michigan St. Those 3 games were without Wahl. He is back, and they got a nice win at home vs. a real solid Penn State team. Their scheduled game for Saturday @ Northwestern (51st in KenPom) was postponed due to a covid outbreak in the Wildcats clubhouse. That game is taking place tonight. Then Wisconsin comes to Maryland in a quick turnaround on Wednesday night. Hopefully that works to our advantage. This is a game they frankly have to win, IMO. Not have to as in they'll be eliminated if they don't, but it's a big swing game IMO.
