jd Martinez is a freaking bum all year and turns it on the last week of the season.

That coincides with the date of the pie curse, by the way. On September 5, 2017 Machado hit a walk off homer against the Yankees, but didn't get pied because Trumbo had thrown a fit two days earlier. The Blue Jays series began on September 5, 2022. It's clearly all Trumbo's fault.

They didn't fold when they were down 6-2 or 14-5 on Monday. Kept fighting. Also didn't fold after blowing a 5-run lead on Tuesday. I doubt they'll quit. They may not play well, but that's different.
Good points.
However, I saw a few of their guys not hustle when they were down. That's generally not a good sign. They won three out of four games and that's all that counts.
