I think you break this article into 2 classes of players.  I don't think Alberto fits either one.

 

One class is those that have played for the Orioles that maybe had arguments made for extended time (into FA) in Baltimore.  Machado and Schoop fit neatly there but I'd also include guys like Bundy and Gausman and you could even make a minor argument for a guy like Austin Wynns who did catch a ML job this year after a couple of modest Oriole years.

 

The other class is prospects (or MiL players) that never really found their way to Baltimore but have had Major League success across other venues.  Christian Walker is certainty a good one but there are others too.  Josh Hader, Mike Yastrzemski, Jonah Hiem, ERod, and Zach Davies are all interesting guys in the same vein.
