I have not watched much of today’s game but I don’t get the questions about BP use.

It was 1-0.  You have to use your best.  If not the complaining would be using other guys when high leverage guys were available.

 

As for why Akin?  Who else…Watkins, Or Joey K.

Dagger. These two games felt very winnable. 4 game sweep would've really done something for momentum.

I don't care what he did today. Standing there admiring a homerun that wasn't instead of getting on his horse is unacceptable. Physical errors are part of the game; those types of mistakes can't happen.

Agreed.  I try to see the good on our teams even when it is difficult and this Oriole team has been a pleasure to watch.  JMO, but the BP has been the heart and soul of this season.  I understand they are struggling now, but I don’t get all the critics and at times name calling on a group that has carried the season.  The hitting has been an issue all year, and most of us saw it coming, but they have all had their positives too.  

Keep an eye on the good.  Not even the most optimistic of us,(not me) saw this coming.
