Any win is a good win, but I'm a bit concerned about Lyles. This is the second straight outing where he's failed to more than four innings. If we're to have any shot at this thing, he's going to have to go back to eating innings.

So Mateo only had one hit but it was a 3 run bomb.
Every other O's batter had at least 2 hits.
Then there is Odor who had zero and made his league leading 12th error. Ok DFA him and if he's so good for the locker room bring him back as a "coach" Can't trot him out there any longer.

Lots of deep counts and non competitive pitches last night. Maybe he needs to tighten up his arsenal. Johnson and Brown were talking about the fact that he throw six pitches. That's great, but maybe you should tweak what you throw if your command is suffering. I think it's a bit redundant that Lyles throws a cutter and a slider. They have similar actions.
