I have to say I like the idea of letting Murray call plays for Arizona.  It gives the QB a chance to think about the offensive strategy and call it from the sideline and not under the pressure of being in the game.  Also has to help with Murray committing the plays to memory.  I wonder if Harbaugh would ever consider doing that with Jackson.

Hyperextended knee, not thought to be serious.

Faalele went down with a knee injury as well, looked potentially bad as he took a lineman to the side of the knee. But he was able to come back into the game and continue playing.

Dodged 2 bullets tonight. I wouldn't blame Harbs if he sits every meaningful player next week after this week. Got lucky twice, don't press it with guys you expect to play an important role.

Especially after seeing what Thad Moss did to Thibodeaux. If Thibodeaux didn't tear anything, he got lucky as hell.

I agree. If you're considering him an import part of a defensive line rotation, why is he playing in the 4th quarter of a preseason game.

I don't have the numbers myself but I read that Jones only played 16 of 64 defensive snaps. I agree he will be important to the team but that is not a problem if true IMO. Guys need to play a little, especially rookies who haven't done it before.

I thought the draft class showed up last night.  Likely was terrific, Jones and Williams were making plays that grabbed attention and Badie and Stout had good games. Let's get out of next week healthy and we should have a good 53 man roster and a deep practice squad.
