There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note
"Now OPS sucks. Got it."
"Making his own olive brine is peak Mackus."
"I'm too hungover to watch a loss." - McNulty

Lol, nice. Deep down you’re terrified that I’m right. I truly hope I’m not.
Even if you are right we are the good years of the A's or Rays for awhile. This organization is loaded

Hah. Out of likes.“Your attitude is poor”
So yeah, Rob last night predictably came in hot with a couple predictable takes… “any fan bashing this (Mancini) trade should lunch themselves in the face.” And the Elias is a savage and that’s amazing, finally a GM who doesn’t GAF about the fans and does what he thinks is right - a take a few here had yesterday.
Then today, he’s quite y pleased at giving away Lopez and adding Phillips and blocking Stowers.
Gotta love it. But unlike many of you here, I give him credit for seeing both sides and calling it out and being more honest about what went down these past 48 hours.
“We have a shot at a wild card right now. But it is not a probability that we're going to win a wild card.” -2022 Trade Deadline
"It's liftoff from here" - after selling on 2022
"We're on a slight upward arc" - Winter Meetings 2022
"I think it's really hard to sit there and chart a course and say, 'We're likely to win the division.'" - Winter Meetings 2022

A Diaz sighting.

I mean no one thinks Phillips is blocking Stowers. Hes a 4th Ofer. Thats it. Stowers is obviously going to get his chance to shine

Who cares? All that means is Adley will be somewhere else soon. Hell, by the time Holliday gets here, Gunnar will elsewhere too. And Grayson, unless he sucks. This is how he’s going to do things, and if they do happen to be good enough to win it all one year so be it, but he’ll never go for it. Never trying, to me, is unjustifiable. As in, the ends would not justify the means. A World Series title under Elias, unless he actually goes for it and unlike what I’m predicting, will always feel a little cheap. It isn’t hard to trade everyone with a pulse eventually and overload your system with prospects. There’s more to the job than that.

It’ll be whenever Elias’s little Excel sheet says though, not when they needed him, which was the moment Trey got traded. It’s all gotta go by his initial plan. It isn’t fluid.I mean no one thinks Phillips is blocking Stowers. Hes a 4th Ofer. Thats it. Stowers is obviously going to get his chance to shine
Seriously though, I’m concerned about Mateo. Someone keep him away from Father Mike tonight, for his safety.

He and this org do not deserve the benefit of the doubt whatsoever. And you know that. I get it though, you need to be positive for your health, honestly, I’ll allow it and rest my case with you.

Of course not. And The Mountain moving to the 9th leaves a vacancy in his now old role.

Because you know how I feel about ya. I’m pissed but it truly is never personal despite how charged it looks on the internet sometimes.

Most likely. They have to find a way to get that .147 in the lineup. Not much that has happened the last few days makes any sense.
