OMG Newman is soooo terrible at calling a game! I mean really poor with almost all her calls being late and her just cramming researched items into the conversation instead of letting it come naturally. Puke!

Almost rather see anyone up with the bases loaded and less than 2 outs than Santander. Feels like it's almost impossible to ask him for even a fly out in these situations.

Last inning she said July wasn’t as strong as June. 14-12 in June, 16-9 in July. She botches everything. Even simple stuff. She’s awful.

Hunter was a bit of a Homer at times, but I'd take him every day of the week over Newman.

She's probably better than Scott Garceau, though.

Garceau is also terrible but Newman is worse. I feel bad for Palmer but she is easy on the eyes.

I don't think she is better than anyone.  I do like her on the post game though.

 

I miss Hunter.  He was a homer, but he was always prepared.  I like having a homer do the games.   I am sure they saved a lot of money getting rid of all the people they had and replacing them with this bunch.

Kevin Brown calls like 80% of the games with either Jim Palmer or Ben McDonald.  When you've got it that good, just accept whatever disaster we have that calls the small remainder.

Yea she still has this weird tendency to over emphasize routine stuff “fly ball to center and MULLINS HAS IT” and downplay the big moments.

She and Garceau are equally horrible.
