McClanahan is 9 innings shy of his career high, which he reached last year and in 2019 after only pitching a few innings in the playoffs in 2020. He’s the clear favorite for Cy Young - it’ll be interesting to see how conservative they will be with him. Which they shouldn’t be at all, unless he or their medical team find reason to be.
