Adley Rutschman is slashing .300/.420/.575 (12-for-40) with five doubles, two home runs, 10 runs scored, seven RBI, and nine walks in 13 games since July 4, hitting safely in nine of them with three multi-hit efforts...He has recorded back-to-back multi-hit games (July 17-22) for the first time in his career...Since June 10, Rutschman has hit 15 doubles, tied for the second-most in MLB during that time...He also has 20 extra-base hits in that stretch, tied for second-most in the AL with Ryan Mountcastle.
Rutschman has 16 doubles this season, third among MLB rookies despite not making his debut until May 21.
Ramón Urías is batting .372/.413/.628 (16-for-43) with two doubles, three home runs, eight runs scored, 14 RBI, and three walks in 13 games since being reinstated from the 10-day Injured List on July 4, hitting safely in 10 of them with five multi-hit efforts...The 14 RBI during that period are tied for fourth in the AL and tied for fifth in MLB...Urías leads the O's in hard-hit percentage (50.0) and ranks second on the team in average exit velocity (90.8 MPH), according to Statcast; his hard-hit rate places him in the top seven percent in MLB.
Urias is 3 for 8 against Cole
