Especially if they haven't played well enough to earn a promotion yet but also...aren't playing poorly enough to be demoted? I have no idea how the logjam is handled so I figured I might as well ask on a forum where there's multiple experts.
What happens to the current members of the Shorebirds when the draft class gets promoted?

Some will be released, some will be promoted, some may go down to the FCL.
My guess:
Christopher Cespedes, Erison Placencia, Joel Benitez, Eduard Monroy, Alejandro Mendez, and Angel Vargas are released.
Trendon Craig, Luis Valdez, Wilkon Grullon, Ryan Long, and Hector Perez are promoted.
Yaqui Rivera, Roberto Martinez, and maybe Creed Willems go to the FCL.
My guess:
