I know, logically, that this can't last, but wow. They look like a baseball team.
Some key components of the future are learning how to win at the big league level.
Oh, and they’re .500, which would put them in 3rd place in most any other division in baseball.

Not a good night for Mountcastle. Went up there hacking with bases loaded against a guy who walked 3 batters in the inning and then struck out looking. First two pitches were balls too. Take some friggin pitches Ryan.
Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. Stop flailing at those secondary pitches, particularly sliders off the plate.

Hard to believe but you can thank their pitching for the most part. Its definitely kept them in most games while a lousy offense has left very small room for error.

When was the last 9 gm winning streak for the Os?
1999, I think. That streak ended at 13.

I thought the Orioles at best could win 4 or 5 in a row at best. I wrongly thought the pitching specifically the starters would falter. Happy to say I was wrong. The schedule gets tougher shortly, but let’s see how far they can take this.

If they wanna seriously make a play for the WC they need to end the month at .500.
Beat up on the bad teams, play .500 ball or slightly under against the good ones.
