Two good young pitchers going against each other. Kirby dominated the orioles for his first win in Baltimore. Let's see if they can make adjustments.

I dont know that Id construct the lineup the way Hyde has tonight but Mountie is hitting 6th in the lineup. Starting to show you the depth we are building. Granted, 7-9 is still pretty much a black hole

Also 2 straight starts at 3b for Arauz. Wonder if they've already pretty much given up on the Nevin experiment and are on to see what the new guy gives them as a regular.

Neither feel like actual prospects to me. Without any comment as to their logic and no real opinion as to who I'd rather see, Arauz is 2 years younger. Nevin has been about 50-100 OPS points higher than Arauz in the upper minors.

Just giving looksies to guys. I cant blame them if they pivot from Nevin to Arauz as the reg against RHP for the time being.
I will say that I could see Nevin becoming a decent MLer at some point
