With that, great season for Kansas State. I had a hunch they'd be a pretty good team this season, but I wouldn't have guessed 10-win good. Chris Kleiman is a damn good coach. I hope he sticks around at KSU a little longer.

Well, so much for Alabama missing the playoff for the second time ever.
If there is justice in the world, TCU still gets in.
I'd rather see new blood, but Ill be very surprised if Bama doesn't get in.

Congrats to Tulane on going from 2-10 last season to 11-2 and AAC Champions this season. They’ll play in the Cotton Bowl, likely against USC. It’ll be their first New Year’s Day bowl appearance since 1940.

If you are one of those people who is sick of coaches who always go for it on 4th down in the red zone, then Purdue is the team for you. Their unwavering commitment to field goals, no matter the score or time left in the game, is truly admirable.

My expected playoff seeding:
1. Georgia
2. Michigan
3. Ohio State
4. TCU
Coming into this season, Ohio State had lost to Michigan just twice in the past 17 years. If I'm correct above, they could potentially end up losing to Michigan twice in the past month.

If the 12-team model were in effect this year:
1. Georgia
2. Michigan
3. Kansas State
4. Clemson
(top four conference champs)
12. Tulane at 5. TCU
11. USC at 6. Ohio State
10. Penn State at 7. Alabama
9. Utah at 8. Tennessee

Is there a scenario in which TCU and Ohio State don’t get completely steamrolled?Georgia vs. Ohio State
Michigan vs. TCU

Didn't think they'd keep TCU at #3, but obviously they don't want an OSU/Mich rematch so soon. Tough deal for Georgia too.

Yes, to both. If OSU's offense clicks, I give them a chance. Less than 50-50, but maybe better than anyone else.
Michigan was outgained in yardage by Purdue last night. The Boilermakers just couldn't finish drives and kept settling for FGs. I think TCU is better than Purdue.

Is Corum going to be back?
TCU could push Michigan, but I'll take the Wolverines.
Ohio State has enough athlete's to give them a puncher's chance, but probably not enough physicality to win.
Michigan has good physicality, but probably not enough athlete's to beat Georgia.
Have to think Georgia would need to beat themselves with multiple turnovers for either OSU or Michigan to pull the upset.

The Cade Klubnik era officially began last night for Clemson. To no surprise at all, former 5-star QB DJ Uiagalalei will be headed to the transfer portal. Interesting note if we're spitballing possible destinations: his brother Matayo is a 5-star EDGE recruit in this upcoming class who appears to be favoring either Alabama, Ohio State, Oregon or USC. All of those but USC are expected to see their starting QB depart after this season.

DJ isn’t good.
I have a hunch he'll be one of those guys that really benefits from a change of scenery.

Clemson has all kinds of talent around him. A good line. Some weapons. A coach that has produced professional QB’s and National Championship winning QB’s. I guess it’s possible, and I don’t see why a lot of schools wouldn’t take a lottery ticket on a talent like him, but I honestly don’t think he’s very good.
