Didn’t see a second of the game but the result is nice. Promising almost.

There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note

"Now OPS sucks.  Got it."

"Making his own olive brine is peak Mackus."

"I'm too hungover to watch a loss." - McNulty

I watched most of the game.  More closely in the second half.  What stood out to me was Russell's intensity.  It was nice to see someone in a Terps jersey look like they wanted it more than the opponent, and never let up that level of effort.

Florida kept cutting 5 and 6 point leads down to 1 and the Terps answered every time.  I don't think that heart or effort was typically a problem for Turgeon, they usually played plenty hard for him, but was nice to see the squad that's here continue to fight.  They aren't gonna fold on the year because of the coaching change.

The Terps were great out of timeouts too, that's something different.

Agreed, I thought Russell and Ayala, decided the game was going to be won or lost on their shoulders.

I liked some of the things I saw that felt different.  More screens, shielding of the lanes etc.     They answered every push Florida made.
