Glad they found a way to come away with the win, but they’d better tighten things up in a hurry. There’s actual halfway decent teams ahead of them on their schedule.

Richmond is at #70 right now and will be the best offensive team Maryland’s faced all year by far. Their defense is going to have to vastly improve in the next 6 days if they want to have a chance in that one.

A lot of the talk coming into this game was needing to improve on the 26% 3 PT shooting. They shot 22% tonight.
The other talk was needing to run the offense through Wahab and let our big man dominate a Hofstra team without their's. Wahab played 8 minutes tonight.

Wahab didn't get off the bench in the second half. Guess Hofstra's smaller guard lineup was just too much to handle.

This may be selective memory, but feels like Turgeon frequently shifts away from his desired offensive lineup to match up defensively with the opponent's 5 rather than stick with the guys we'd most want on the court and force mismatches for the opponent's defense.
I also don't understand why Wahab and Reese can't play together. It's early, but Reese seems capable of matching up with opponent's 4s.
