There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note
"Now OPS sucks. Got it."
"Making his own olive brine is peak Mackus."
"I'm too hungover to watch a loss." - McNulty

Sadly I agree. Lamar shouldn't be throwing 40+ passes.

Oh yeah, offense has been atrocious and the staff has done nothing to adjust.
They're stil trying to make Lamar into Tom Brady. It's not working.

Might actually watch Harbs presser for once.

Fitting that the game ends on a Lamar int. Actuality, on the play right before the pick, I think Lamar could have run it in. Instead, he threw an incomplete pass to the end zone. Everything went wrong this game.
I can't wait for this season to end. Such a wasted season.

Look back at every season since 2008 and you'll find one or two of these road debacles vs teams they should beat handily. Almost every year. And it costs them seeding at best. The final run vs pass numbers are always about the same. And again, they never trailed by more than one score until late. It's inexplicable...
Lamar shouldn't be throwing 40 passes. Even with our RB depletion, they have enough guys in the backfield to work the clock. Lamar isn't Tom Brady. This is a team they should have smashed.

They're really not. You can't look at attempts and assume thats what happening.
47 dropbacks. 19 of them were on the final two drives where they had to go to the air.
28 dropbacks to 21 rushes before the final two drives.

Yeah but most of them came late in the 4th. They were two scores down. It's pretty evident that the replacement RBs suck big time. Leveon Bell, the Ravens are just giving him money to build on his pension. Freeman has his moments, but he is nowhere near a breakout back. The offense is either Lamar Jackson running the ball, or throwing the ball. This team is lucky to be where they are, and tonight showed how flawed they really are. They go as far as Lamar Jackson can take them, and as far as the defense can try to show up.

Defense was great tonight, except for when they needed that stop late. But with all the short drives from the offense I can’t even blame them.
The Ravens defense? Yeah maybe total yardage wise, but every big play in the game was made against the Ravens defense. I have a hard time saying the Ravens defense was good tonight. Miami's defense was good. They were aggressive and physical. Not sure I say the same for the Ravens.

I hear you, but I’m not interested in analyzing the Dolphins. Until very late, the Ravens defense was the whole reason they had a shot. They played great, for them.

Oh boy. If the Steelers beat the Lions, they become the leader in the AFC North.
Good job Ravens.

Can always be counted on for a few chunk plays though, that’s for sure.
I think I would lean more to the fact that the reason the Raven's had a shot was mostly because the Miami offense is that bad. I guess you can look at it either way. But when Miami needed a big play, they got it. I think it was less the Raven's defense and more a Miami offense that is very bad. But I guess you can look at it either way.

Definitely true.

Ravens are going to struggle against Pittsburgh’s defense.Oh boy. If the Steelers beat the Lions, they become the leader in the AFC North.

You know, the other thing is that the O-line was really terrible tonight. I know they aren't that good, but tonight they looked about as bad as a 32nd team in the NFL. Not much you can do when your O-line can't run block, can't pass block, and when they do it well, it's only because they get a penalty.
