I told my son, we were going to wind up with him. So predictable.
He has a very good glove and a very weak bat.

Also claimed Shaun Anderson off waivers. These two moves should lock up Exec of the year award for Elias.

What a joke.
Isn’t this what a bad team should be doing? Cycling through different options to see if you can get something out of them?
Not saying Gutierrez will be anything, he most likely will end up DFA’d by us by the end of the season as well, but every team does this with the bottom of their roster.

If it were only the bottom of the roster they were doing this with I don't think there would be many complaints.Isn’t this what a bad team should be doing? Cycling through different options to see if you can get something out of them?

Good point. It feels like the team is in a panic trying to get through the season. Maybe one of these guys, makes a contribution, but it feels like we are just picking up warm bodies trying to get through the 162 game season.

He'll get a shot in Baltimore, be horrendous, and get DFA a few days later and we'll forget this guy was ever an Oriole.
That process starts now

Optioned to AAA
I am not sure I have ever seen a hitter with as stiff of a hitting stance as Kelvin.

I guess the corresponding move is Franco. Let the excitement begin.

I guess, they want his defense, which is a bit strange, because I think Franco has been fielding well. Neith can hit.
Are we going to see Jones at second, Mateo at SS and Urias at 3rd?? From the little I have seen, I think Mateo is going to be a high error SS.

I don't watch a lot, but seems like most times I tune in Franco makes a flashy-looking play. What I can't decide is if they are really good plays or if he has a knack for making slightly-harder-than-routine plays look like difficult plays.

Good question. He made a nice play yesterday, on the back hand side that Palmer gushed over, but I told my son, I think a guy with good range, gets in front. I think he is slightly above average, but for the most part, he has not helped much this year.
Except for about 7 or 8 guys, they could cut the whole damn team.,
