Joe Girardi's father, Jerry, died today. But I have confirmed Joe Girardi IS managing Game 4 tonight. #Yankees #Orioles

Reports are now that he died on Saturday. Not sure how this wasn't released then. Seems odd.

Damn, Yankees are definitely better off with Jeter DHing and Nix at SS than Jeter at SS and Nunez or even Ibanez at DH.

It's such a sham that people never talk about how comically bad Jeter is at SS. I really think he may be the worst defensive SS in MLB history among guys who spent their entire career there (say 10+ years).

Haha, yeah he's quite bad.

It's too bad he won't be covering a 6 foot range at SS tonight.

So just about everyone thought the Giants were pretty much done and the O's are in a better position than they were in. Anything can happen.

Yep, definitely doable. Just gotta win tonight first. Time for the bats to finally get hot. Need to win 8-3 or something like that. Get 5 IP from Saunders, maybe 2 runs, then the bullpen finishes things out hopefully without too much pressure or concern.

Gotta think Game 5 would be heavier pressure on the Yanks than us, even with CC on the mound.

My Markakis Road jersey is 2-0. Wieters Home is 0-1. Batting Practice Warmup is 0-1.

We'll be rocking the Markakis jersey for the next two nights (though may have to take it off while eating some wings, don't wanna get Franks all over my $200 jersey).

My good buddy and fellow BSL poster Tyler Bingaman sent me a postseason shirt and one of the BUCKle Up towels from game 2. I'm wearing the shirt and the towel is close by, can only be a good thing!
