In looking at the circumstances, this is definitely not the sort of game Turgeon's teams have won in the past. But this season has obviously been uncharacteristic in so many ways, so maybe it was to be expected. And I hate to jinx it, but kudos to everyone in the program, particularly the players, for being on track to play the full season.

I missed the entire game, but judging by the score, it looks like they probably played well enough for 40 full minutes.
I'll admit I hadn't put a TON of stock in the streak before today. Not that it was meaningless, but competition levels weren't overly impressive. Going in to THIS game, my take was "Izzo's teams always play better down the stretch. If Team Turgeon can win THIS one, I'll buy in that they've turned a corner." Will readily admit I didn't think there was a snowballs chance in hell they'd pull this off down the stretch.
