This Richard Sherman story sounds like it has CTE written all over it.
Or his lack of a contract this year due to either wanting too much or no interest. Isn't CTE more of a drug issue.? His is alcohol.

Seems like an empty gesture to me. Certainly not massive implications. Especially if, as it sounds from the above description, an outbreak among vaccinated players that led to a cancellation doesn't count as a forfeit?
Every game was played last season, when there were no vaccines. Hard to see them not finding a way to play all the games now that some percentage much higher than last year's 0% of players and staff will be vaccinated.

Yeah, they're basically saying they'll work with vaccinated teams, but they have no sympathy for the unvaccinated. There are still teams - WFT, for example - at less than 50%. Unvaccinated players who test positive have a mandatory 10-day quarantine period, so unvaccinated teams could potentially become shorthanded in a hurry.

This is interesting. Vikings fire or part ways with assistant coach (and our old friend) Rick Dennison because he refused to get vaccinated (or provide a valid religious or medical reason for not doing so).

Are they going to let vaccinated players who test positive play?
No, but the route back is easier - you just need 2 negative tests.

The way the players are speaking out on this, this is much, much more than an empty gesture.
