Fell asleep early unfortunately, but seemed like an electric atmosphere the first couple innings. Looks like high drama in the late innings.

He's just incredible. Appointment TV. Players like him, Trout and Tatis Jr are why I got MLB.tv. and many others. MLB is in great hands moving forward.

Mandy hears me talking about him all the time so twice now she's gotten me Angels tickets when they've come to town. Anywho, yes, it's sad. I hope he wins a World Series.
But back to Trout. He might end up the best baseball player of all time. Hes in the middle of his prime right now. What % of Americans would know who he was if shown his picture. Is it even 40%.

They need to get to the playoffs first.

Interesting take on baseball's pace of play issues from Adam Silver. Maybe they don't want to fix them?
But put moral arguments for and against betting aside, and consider a different question: Has sports’ relationship with gambling evolved to the point at which professional leagues will make decisions on what’s best for … the gamblers?
This seems inconceivable, until you hear Rob Manfred, the commissioner of Major League Baseball, relay the story of a phone call he received from Adam Silver, his counterpart with the NBA.
“He said, ‘Rob, you got to stop talking about the pace of game because your pace of game is going to be absolutely perfect for sports betting,’ ” Manfred said Tuesday on a webinar hosted by the sports business site Sportico. “And he’s right. He usually is. And he was right about that.”
