Go Stros. Usually root for the AL, thought trashcan gate was overblown, and a 2nd title to cap this 5 year run (and doing it without Cole, Verlander, and Springer) would be cool.

Freddie Freeman winning would be cooler.

I’m rooting for the Astros too. But certainly wouldn’t be upset if the Braves won. If Acuna wasn’t hurt I’d root for them but would be cool if he got a ring regardless.

I'm rooting for for Astros, and I'm not going to lie to you, this is part of it. Although I tend to agree with your point nevertheless, but I need to grasp at anything I can. But one key difference in the whole thing is, they have Crane and we have whichever Angelos is running this shindig.

But beyond that, I don't care about the scandal anymore and I like a lot of those guys.

I honestly dont have a rooting interest as of now. Maybe Ill end up rooting for the Braves.

An 88-win team hoisting the trophy gives me more hope that the Orioles can in my lifetime since there will likely be more Orioles teams in that win range than the 100 win range, all three of which watching this WS from home.

Their Opening Day payroll was $132M, which is also a range the Orioles should be playing in come 2023. $109M less than the Dodgers they just ousted.

I like that Atlanta had to push all the right buttons to supplement the roster and it’s paying off.

Houston is just being Houston. They are boring to me at this point.

I can see that. I’m only out on the WS if it’s Boston or NYY. I didn’t watch a single game in 09, or ‘18. Half my family is Cardinals fans so I watched 13’.

Most of my perspective on rooting for the Stros is based on thinking you wouldn't like to see it happen. Otherwise, I don't really care. Half kidding. 

I think what the Orioles are doing is analogous to what the Houston did, but whatever. Bigger thing for me is that too many people haven't given Houston the respect they are due for what they've accomplished over this run.
