The truth is the options were never very inticing in the AL. Hou, Bs, and NY took up 3 of the spots. In the NL Im only rooting against LA. No one wants to see them in the WS for the 10th year in a row

Don't really want them but if it's going to be the Red Sox or Astros then I'd prefer it would be against the Dodgers because the Dodgers are the only NL team that can beat them.

Runner takes off from 1st on a 3-2 2 out pitch. Keirmaier hits base of the fence out in RC in front of bullpens. Ball caroms back off the wall hits the ground then off the RF and over the wall. They rule ground rule double and runners on 2nd and 3rd. The guy running was rounding 3b as the ball hit off the fielder. Scores easily without the ball going out of play.

 

If, as an OF you play the ball out of play, it should go beyond a ground rule double. Call it a ground rule triple, and as such, all bases get cleared ~ Because at the end of the day, a colossal gaffe like that, no matter the ballpark's quirks, should benefit the team on the field over the team at the plate.
