I don't get it. I mean it's cool for about five minutes, but then the game starts and its just another game. Luckily, the White Sox are really good this year or I wouldn't be watching beyond the player intros. How much did this field cost to build? What happens to if after this one game is played on it? Seems like a waste of time and money to me.

I don't really get it either. I really had no interest in the game and I think the movie is vastly overrated. That said, the broadcast was obviously successful. Good for MLB.

I think this what's very cool, hope they can do it again.

Do they eat the corn that becomes the field and stands or is it just never planted? Corn is always good but fresh corn in the late summer is amazing.
