This is as close to a must-win as a team that's already clinched a playoff spot can have.

Gotta get the win tonight to keep the pressure on the Yankees and the Athletics.

Go Red Sox! Go Rangers!

Game 161 - where has the time gone? I love it when in a year where the O's are playoff bound, you look back and can't believe you've already played 160 games. I've never experienced this as an adult before, it's really cool.

#orioles lineup: McLouth 7, Hardy 6 Davis 9, Jones 8, Wieters 2, Thome DH Reynolds 3, Flaherty 4 Machado 5, Gonzalez SP

Also, Britt retweeted a Yankees' writer saying that there is a lot of rain in New York, so that game won't start on time.

A doubleheader for the Yankees tomorrow would be great. It increases their chances of losing at least one of the games, IMO, and if we do tie them up, it means they'll have a DH and then have to travel to Baltimore to play the game on Thursday for the division.

Let's take care of business, O's! Get these next two wins!

I was thinking the same exact thing. We saw it in Baltimore last week (O's splitting with TOR) and on Sunday in Texas.

O's just need to win the next two. That's all that should matter for the guys. Let the other cards sort themselves.

Being that they control the situation and it's a night game tomorrow as well, I think they'll everything possible to play tonight even if it means playing in front of a few hundred.

I think the stat is around 80% of doubleheaders are split, so definitely works in our favor for them to play two. Hope it happens but not completely counting on it!

I just got back from northern jersey and it was raining buckets up there. My guess is the Sux and the Yankees only play a DH if it matters. The Orioles need to win tonight.

With the Rays eliminated, maybe they lose a little edge tonight. We need a win.

You're probably right, but I think it matters regardless... especially re: which P's are available when....
