By my count they dropped back to pass 8 times in the 2nd half

The Ravens basically decided they were going to run the ball in the second half and the Texans weren't going to be able to do anything about it

Yep...I think the Oline got a message at the half,

That's what I was thinking at halftime...enough of this playing around.  Just pound it down their throats in the 2nd half and play Ravens football.  It was especially nice to see Dobbins run because I was wondering where he was for most of the game.

Houston had the long week to prepare so good on the Ravens to make adjustments.

I mean, that's just normal standard play with a lead and a good running attack... right?

This was far from a great effort but they still won by 17 points.  That's the sign of an extremely talented team who don't always have to have their A game to win convincingly.  Nothing would be sweeter than to see them kick KC all over the field next Monday.  Not just beat them but destroy them.

Who's worried about our secondary with Tavon Young possibly set to miss some time?  Averett did not look good at all against Cooks and Watson looked to be targeting him.

Sure but in the 1st half, they just seemed to be playing with very little energy up front on the OL, especially in pass protection.  Whatever was said at halftime, they came out and started dominating and finally started opening up some holes.

Liked Boykin today too. 4 catches I think and his usual down field blocking.

Also why is BoB not going for it? you're down 17 bro

Pretty bad coaching.  You can't beat the Ravens by kicking FGs, especially when you are already down.  I thought Houston's defense did a fairly good job of keeping the game from getting out of hand, but at some point in time your offense has to make a move, and getting 3's doesn't do it.  Only thing I can figure is O'Brien has his kicker in his fantasy league!

Yeah, that's sad.  Big fan of his ability in the slot.  Very unfortunate.

And even though the Ravens have depth, and can cover up on it some now...  you hate losing bodies and options this early.

Definitely feel bad for him. Looking around the league though, we got off light. Lots of huge injuries today.

Hope Lamar holds up and gets to 100%. He is thinking too much on his runs, definitely seems like he's nursing something.

I thought that on a few of his runs. Seemed like he just wasn't as fast to the edge, and he was hesitant to try and make the cut backs and the start and stop moves he usually pulls off. Maybe he was just off today. But Cunningham beat him to the edge all day. I just don't see him being faster than Lamar if Lamar is 100%.
