Its being smart. I was behind every decision to go for it against Tenn. I will be behind going for it on 4th and 1 the overwhelming majority of the time . I just think that was the wrong time.

I disagree. The probability was already high we win. I bet it went from like 90% to now 97 or 98. Had we not got it though at that spot and with that time I bet it drops to like 75-80%. That a sig drop vs what we gained

You could be right. But I know that's what Harbaugh uses to make those decisions. And he went for it. So I lean towards the analytics being on my side on this one.

Yup. Its clear to me why he is active and Hill should be inactive on Sundays

I think Edwards is the closer. Hill should have a role in some games, but he's not going to be the guy that grinds out the clock when you have a 2 score lead.

I just think they are using Dobbins in that Hill role. Nothing against Hill. I just think he doesn't have a role right now

I just think they are using Dobbins in that Hill role.

They have, but I think that is partially because Hill hasn't been 100%

 

I still think Hill brings something unique that even Dobbins can't replicate.
