Diamond Stone says helloI can't see how anyone couldn't like Turgeon. Seems like a good dude, and the program is respectable with no hints of shady dealings.
The question is, do you want MD to contend for championships, or be a middling, boring tournament team?

Shocking he took the Bulls job before finding out if Maryland was a possibility.

I think with Hamilton, MD moves to the right side of the bubble.

Good news about Hamilton. Play fast Turgeon!

Hamilton scored well at BC, but... he did it very inefficiently. He took a lot of 3's, but made only 28.1%. Let's face it - this team is going to be the gang who can't shoot straight for the 20/21 season. They're going to have a lot of trouble scoring. But the defense should be good - especially if Chol earns playing time. Scott, Morsell, and Wiggins are really talented defenders. Hopefully the recruits for 21/22 are as good or better than advertised. Turgeon's going to need them to be.

I think Wiggins and Ayala will need to return to the levels of their freshman year for Maryland to have success. Right now it feels like a lot of pieces, so we will see if Turgeon can mold it together.

Hamilton's percentages certainly weren't good at BC, but that was a really bad offensive team overall. Not saying he turns into an elite shooter overnight, but I think he'll find better shots in this offense.

I think at times we worry too much about what a player shoots from 3. Maryland needs a big who can score from the paint. Without an inside player, to keep the defense honest, all the outside shooters will suffer. Hopefully Hamilton can score inside.because I do not see any other inside scorers.

He's literally the biggest reason to watch the Terps this season. Hopefully he stays healthy, earns minutes, and doesn't foul out very often. https://www.testudot...fe-terps-target

I really hope Marial is improved. He is probably the main hope for an inside game, but I keep looking at how skinny he is and how light he is in his base, and I do not see how he can hold his ground in the paint. I truly hope he proves me wrong.
The video they showed was nice but look at the competition. It was basically an open gym setting. Anyone that shows up plays.

Not sure how anyone even has faith enough to call him a high D1 player
The ability is there.
Shouldn't shock anyone if he is a pro next year. It's certainly plausible.
Has to show he can stay on the court first, and then of course produce...
